All right, friends, welcome. Happy Wednesday to you Happy whatever day it is that you're listening to this. I'm so glad you're here. It's November. And our theme this month is expanding past upper limits. Last week, we talked about getting honest on your baseline. Where are you at? Like, really? Where are you at. So you can then put a line in the sand for where you want to be. We also talked about some foundational things you really need to have in place. If you want to expand beyond what you previously thought possible, which my friend you are capable of doing it. I know that you are. But these things which are specifically sleep, fitness, nutrition and supplementation, and surroundings will give you the rocket fuel you need to expand past what you thought was possible. Go listen to episode 135, which was last week's episode, if you want to know all the juicy details about those. Over the last six weeks, my husband and I, we've already been productive. We've already been fairly successful. But we have flipped our lives upside down by doing those things and getting those things right. And I talked about that in that episode. So go listen to episode 135. I feel like all the episodes this month are building on themselves. You can listen to them in their singular goodness. But together as a collective, I feel like this month has a lot of juicy details in here. This week, we're going to talk about the most important thing of all, if you want to expand past your upper limits and way beyond what you ever thought was possible in your life, and that thing is your mindset. I want to take a deep collective breath right now. I feel like we probably needed I know I do. It's 235 on Monday, this episode is coming out on Wednesday. And no I wrote this episode, I think a week and a half ago, I just haven't had the time to sit down and record it. And today has been crazy. I'm still dealing with some medical bills from when I gave birth nine months ago. We've had coaching calls today. I mean it we've just had a lot going on. And as I was sitting down to do this podcast, I was like maybe I should just tell Terry, my podcast editor no episode this week, and give myself a little break, which I don't think there's anything wrong with giving yourself a break once in a while guys are even more than once in a while. But I looked at the content today. And I just thought you know what? I can't do that. This is too important. It's too timely, to wait another week to put it out. So here it is. This is about your mindset. And how if you conquer this, you can conquer anything. And I mean that anything. caveat, it's true, we have limits, okay. And I understand that I'm five, three. So I'm not going to dunk a basketball anytime soon. I don't have a medical degree. So I'm not going to walk into a hospital tomorrow and start treating patients. Maybe you want to be a unicorn, but you are a human and the human body has its limits when it comes to being a unicorn, you get the idea. These are obvious. I'm not talking about obvious limits. Okay, I'm talking about expanding past our upper limits. And so often these have to do with what we believe we are capable of not what we are actually capable of. I want to riff on the not so obvious limits. And those are the limits you've consciously and unconsciously placed on yourself. What are they? They could be anything? brainstorm with me here. Maybe that you can't lose weight. I've had that limit before, or that you can't wake up at 5am It's just too hard. That you're not pretty enough. That's not true, that you're not smart enough. That's also not true. That you don't deserve to have the life of your dreams, my darling, that's your birthright that you don't deserve to be a mom or that you don't deserve to be in that room with all of those amazing changemakers you do. Maybe you believe that you weren't good at making money or that you weren't creative? Or that you weren't good enough. These thoughts are thoughts that so many of us think and it breaks my heart. I've had these thoughts. They're not true. And they're limiting us. And that list that I just shared with you is not even remotely conclusive. I know so many of us are masters at being hard on ourselves. As a side note, that's why I started this podcast. It's also why I changed the name from self discovery to self worth, because I realized so many of us are struggling with our worth. And if we can conquer this, we can conquer anything. Our worth starts in our minds, our thoughts, if we are not conscious of them when they become negative, or destructive. They're insidious, and powerful. But we need to stop that. And we need to stop it. Now. I want you to take another deep breath. Now, I want you to think about what it would feel like to not live with those ceilings over everything in your life. What would it feel like to feel thin enough? energetic enough, pretty enough, smart enough, deserving, fantastic at making money, creative, inspired, and not just good enough. Wonderful, my friend. If you learn nothing from this podcast, other than what I'm about to say, then that will be enough. You are enough. This is a satellite call from my heart to yours, you are enough. Just as you are in this moment, wherever you are, however old you are, it doesn't matter. You are enough. You're here for a reason. You are amazing. And there is purpose in your life and in your existence. And I'm so glad to be on the planet with you. During the same moment in time. The limits that you are placing on yourself, whether you are conscious of them or not, are not real. They are all in your mind. They're all in your head. So what now? How do you conquer this limiting mindset that so many of us have? And guys, it's the key to unlocking the potential of our lives. If we can get this right, there's so much that we can do. The first step is to simply become aware of the thoughts that are on a loop in our minds, and the thoughts that float in at random times. What thoughts are replaying what reaction do you have when you are met with a new opportunity? How do you feel about your life right now? Pay attention. bring awareness to your thoughts and the way your body reacts in different scenarios. Do you loosen? Do you tense up to get a stomachache? Do you get a headache? Do you feel good? Do you feel like you just did an hour of yoga, pay attention to your thoughts and how they make you feel spiritually mentally and physically. Second, when the limiting thought comes up, like Brooke Shields says, Say cancel, cancel, cancel, and choose a better thought. We have the power in each moment. Not to believe those limiting negative destructive thoughts we can say cancel, cancel, cancel, just like we would a button on a computer screen, we can hit that button and choose a better thought. If you think I hate my arms, stop and say, cancel, cancel, cancel, and then choose something you love about yourself. Maybe it's your eyes or your lips or your hair or whatever amazing thing it is that you are. Choose a higher vibrational thought, choose a loving thought. Stop yourself in your tracks, cancel, cancel, cancel, and choose a better thought. Just like you can switch from browsers on your computer or your phone. You can switch your thought browsers okay. The same is true for when you are feeling small. Let's say a promotion is up for grabs or really big professional opportunity. You learn about it and immediately say to yourself, I'm not experienced enough for that. I can't do that. Here's your opportunity. All right, cancel, cancel, cancel, and choose a better thought. Here is an amazing question. Ask yourself, What if you are experienced enough for that opportunity? What if you're actually perfect for it? And that employer or that project manager is so excited when you apply because you're the perfect fit, and it's going to make their lives so much easier. What if that's the reality? Friends? What if you are enough for all the things your heart wants? What if you're enough for all of it? What if God gave you those desires and the exact amount of enoughness to match them because those desires are the reason you are here on this planet at this point in time. I believe that that is the truth. You're smart, you're capable, you are amazing. You are here for a reason. You are doing things only you can do on this earth. There's only one you and the only thing limiting you is you. So remove the ceiling over your dreams, which is your limiting mindset. transmute it into something far more powerful. Because you can, because that's what you're here to do. You're here to be the fullest expression of you. And you can't do that. If your limiting mindset is ruling your life. This episode of self worth is powered by conscious copper. Since having my son Roman, I've been a little obsessive about EMF radiation. Because I did research on what that radiation does to our bodies and especially those of infants. This EMF radiation seems to be coming at us from everywhere, our cell phones, electronic devices, five G and then Wi Fi in general, our bodies simply are not equipped to deal with this constant onslaught of radiation. To combat this, I found conscious copper, I did a lot of online research, and I bought several of their products and fell so in love with them that I reached out to conscious copper and asked to become an affiliate. There beam technology, which is trademarked is based on a bio energetic approach to health. It features dual level technology that offers effective protection from the damaging effects of EMF radiation, and it provides support for the body's health. When you're wearing one of these devices or near one of these devices. The first level of action harmonizes the negative energetic frequencies of the electromagnetic radiation. The second level of action supports the cells in your body as they are stressed by the radiation bringing their energy to an optimal level for good health. The beam technology operates at the sub atomic level so it does not block or alter the actual electromagnetic frequencies allowing your electronic devices to still operate normally. I have conscious coppers quantum EMF necklace, unlike so many other EMF mitigating wearables, this one is simple and beautiful and made of copper. It's also considerably more affordable than other EMF necklaces, it's only 68 bucks, and the price goes down. If you buy multiples, I have one Sam has one and we have one for Roman when he's old enough to wear it. I also have their ripple cellphone EMF defense, it plugs into your cell phone where the charger input is and I literally use this every minute that my phone is not on the charger. I've noticed a difference in using both of these. It's wild but there is a sense of calm that they carry because I'm not being bombarded with EMF radiation. I also feel so good knowing that I am mitigating the amount of EMF radiation that is coming into contact with my young growing son. Calm conscious copper also has rings, bracelets and home EMF mitigating devices. You are going to love every product you try from the golden secrets, I just know it. Another area I think is really important to address when it comes to mindset is our perceived past failures. So many of us carry our past failures like a rucksack on our backs. Everywhere we go. We put all the new information coming at us through our perceived past failure rucksack. It's awful. And it's unnecessary. So often, we carry this guilt with us all of our lives. And then we make decision after decision after decision out of our grief, or shame, or our guilt or our fear. We don't have to do this either. You are not your past, you are not your perceived failure. And the reason I keep saying perceived failure is because it should be questioned by you. Did you really fail? Or did you just not meet your extremely high expectations? Those are two very different things in the off chance that you did fail. It's also important to note that failure is very useful. If you actually did experience failure, think about how much you learned from it. How much maybe there still is to learn from it. How many tools you added to your life's toolbox from that tough experience. That tough pain, that tough family situation or parental situation, failure, pain, all of it. It's just a pivot that leads us to a better road. One more suited to our life's purpose. And I want to give you an example of this in my life because this is something that is I struggled with when my husband and I moved from California to Georgia, in 2014. We moved in with my in laws for several months while we were figuring out where we wanted to live in Georgia, what we were going to do for work, et cetera. And we ended up living in Georgia for six years. We lived in Atlanta, we lived in Athens. And quite honestly, guys, it was one of the toughest, if not the toughest periods of my life. I went from beautiful, gorgeous California, and lots of amazing produce, and tons of friends in the music industry. And a mentor who I met with multiple times a week to work on songwriting to being very much on my own in Georgia. I ended up making friends and making contacts and all of those things. But what we moved to Georgia for what we thought we moved to Georgia for ended up being a force, and we changed our whole lives for it. And that six years, I was in bands. I did open mic nights, I hosted open mic nights, I performed and performed and performed. Then I started a branding business while I was still performing. And the branding business did well. But I never charged enough, because I didn't know my own worth. So I made just enough to get by never enough to thrive. And over this six year period, I felt so stifled, so lonely, so frustrated, so discouraged by the lack of money that I was making, even though I was working my butt off and trying everything I knew how to try. And it made me feel like what happened to that girl who graduated from Baylor University, as the President of the Student Foundation, and the homecoming queen, all of those things, not that those things are that important. But what happened to that girl, I feel like a shell of that person who felt so confident so ready to take on the world. Here I am 10 years later, and I thought I'd be so much further by now. Like what gives. And it has been one of those things, even though now I am out of Georgia for two years. It's something that I still hold with me this perception that I should have tried harder, I should have known more, I should have done more. I should have been more should have made more. And it leaves me with this feeling like I'm starting at a deficit. Like okay, I've got a fresh start in Arizona, but I got to make up for lost time, I got to make up for lost ground. And it creates this energy of not enoughness of sadness, of shame, which is such a low vibrational feeling. And it's something that I don't want to carry anymore. And so I've realized, in meditation and in journaling and through reading different books, I have an opportunity here to reframe my perception of those six years, to alchemize my painful experience and turn it around and say, Wow, you got your doctorate in life and hard knocks during those six years. You learned how to be resilient. You learned how to see the truth for what it is. You learned that you were undercharging for the immense value that you are bringing. You learned that not everybody is for you. Not every relationship is for you. You learned that you are massively strong. And it takes a lot for you to give up on anything. You learn the power of reflection, you learned the power of turning inward. When everything around you feel so painful. You grew so much and what felt like the rockiest of soils and friends. I haven't let all of it go yet. But I've let a lot of it go and it has translated into my everyday life as a lightness. And as an ability to forgive myself so much faster. Like last week, my husband and I had to go car shopping, we need, well, we got a car, but we needed to get a new car so bad. Our car that we have now, it's just so small, with a baby and three dogs and whatnot. Anyway, we went and we got a car, but we are out way later than we thought we were going to be our routine got all screwed up, we went to bed later than we normally do. The old me would have been like, you need to still get up at 530. And you need to do all the things that you said that you are going to do today. And the new me was like, hey, you need an extra half hour or an hour before your son wakes up to sleep. And make up for that last time you do it. Because rest matters and your body matters and feeling good and your body matters. Your Productivity does not equal your self worth, the way that I feel about myself equals my self worth. And so I was able to go, Hey, at no fault of my own, I got off course today. And I'm just going to hop back on the train tomorrow, no big deal. I don't have to let the train go way off the tracks. And you're allowed to do that too. And even if it is something that is a fault of yours, like, let's say you're on a strict eating plan, and you eat five chocolate chip cookies. Okay, so what, start over again tomorrow. Let's be easier on ourselves, we're human, we are human, you are allowed to alchemize these painful experiences and reframe them into something more potent, more powerful, something that will help you expand past your upper limits. When we look back on the painful bits, when we look back on those moments where we feel such guilt on those moments that we feel such shame. And we acknowledge them. And we say hey, self, I know you are doing the best that you could, why don't we just incorporate all of this and let it all be part of the fabric of our life. And we'll move forward together. When we fragment ourselves, when we have parts of ourself that are still hiding in the shadows, we will never feel whole. We will never be able to be like a rocket ship launching into space because we'll be carrying so much weight. So what is it that you feel ashamed of or fearful about or embarrassed about? I guarantee you, I've experienced some of those things. So many people that you know have experienced many of those things, so many people on this planet. Everybody that has ever lived, is embarrassed about something or fearful about something or they feel ashamed about something. But the sooner we forgive ourselves for those things, the sooner we say to our inner child, Hey, what is it that you wanted me to hear? When that happened? What is it you wanted me to heal from? How can I support you today? The easier it is to move forward. And also, the byproduct of that is there's a lightness in our thoughts. Because we're more aligned and we're more Incorporated. We're less fragmented. So we're able to think more clearly. We're able to be more of who we really are and expand higher into the potential that we have here on this planet. You are allowed to transmute every negative thing in your past and the beautiful pieces in your life's tapestry. Our mindset is everything. How we think about ourselves, is everything. How we treat ourselves based on these things, changes everything. You are powerful beyond measure. All you have to do my friend is believe that and then act
