In this special episode of Self Discovery, we are joined by Maple Eastwood. Maple is an astrologer, tarot reader, writer, and intuitive guide and today on the show, she blows my mind by reading and reviewing my natal chart. This is something I have never had done and I previously knew nothing about.

This is a very personal reading, but I wanted to share it with all of you because self discovery is personal. When we share pieces of ourselves like I am doing right now, it gives others permission to do the same kinds of exploratory work. This inner work is everything! - And as you'll hear in this episode, natal chart readings are a great way to dive deeper into who you are and what you are here to be.

So the sun sign, the moon sign and the rising sign are said to be kind of the main three or the most kind of important and equally important integral parts of like who we are?

Jaclyn Steele:

Well, it is 1pm. And approximately one hour, I am doing something that I have not done before. And something that I haven't done on the podcast, either Today's guest is Maple Eastwood, and she is an astrologer and a tarot card reader and she is going to read my birth chart, and share information about it live on the show. I have not had my birth chart read before I have had one tarot card reading. But I have never had any kind of astrology reading either. So I'm really looking forward to this. I'm a little nervous. But I'm going in totally open hearted, open minded and really excited to delve in. If you just started a little Chick, chick chick, my dog just hopped up on the bench. But I'm, I'm really interested to dive in to the next level of my self discovery, through astral charts and my birth chart. Because I have a feeling that all of these things that happen around us in the universe that seem random. They're actually context clues, leading us deeper and deeper if we follow those context clues into who we are. So again, I have no idea what's about to happen. But I'm so excited. And I'm really looking forward to introducing you guys to Maple Eastwood. Disclaimer, I have not spoken to her on the phone before. We connected through Instagram through a very good friend of mine. So I know she is a trusted source. But again, this is a live situation. I wanted to bring you guys in on something that's just totally genuine and authentic. For those of you that feel like maybe astrology or tarot card reading are not part of your faith or the way you do things. No worries, I understand. But for those of you that are curious about it, or even for those of you who are super into it, I wanted this to be kind of a vulnerable episode in which you are able to learn more about this process. But also learn more about me you know, if you're somebody that listens to this podcast regularly, one of the things that I'm committed to is being super, super, super authentic and genuine. And so this is one of those chances for me to connect with you on a deeper level. I'm looking so forward to sharing this episode with you so much love to all of you today and enjoy what's about to happen. I'm I'm very confident that I will and here is my reading with maple Eastwood this episode of self discovery is supported by living libations I was turned on to this company after my hashimotos diagnosis. Unknown:

Ah,

Jaclyn Steele:

dear listeners, I am feeling like an open channel. I spoke with maple Eastwood just a couple seconds ago about this. And we both agreed that when we're doing spiritual work, there are some like clearing of the channel that needs to take place beforehand. And so I did that. And now I'm ready. And I am so I just I feel overjoyed to be talking to you right now Maple Eastside said, thank you so much for your willingness to be here and to do this.

Unknown:

Thank you so much for having me. I'm so honored. If I'm understanding correctly, this is like the introduction to your natal chart or your birth chart totally. One way to leave things to do ever. It's so magical. It's such an amazing experience. I hope it's really inspiring and enlightening for you. So I'm just so thankful. so grateful to be here and you know, share this with you and your listeners. Well, thank you.

Jaclyn Steele:

Thank you. Okay, so how do we begin?

Unknown:

Yeah, so I guess, I think, you know, from what it sounds like is this is kind of introduction to astrology for, you know, the group of us for the bulk of us. So I'll kind of go over like, what we're approaching here, and then we'll get perfect, perfect. Oh, I love that. Yes, please. So, you know, I think a lot of us know, you know, astrology in the sense of, you know, we're reading our horoscope in the paper, or, you know, we're at a party and it's the icebreaker of, what's your sign and we you know, say oh, I'm a Virgo, or a Pisces or a Taurus. So when we respond with that, you know, that's our sun sign. That's our basic identity and personality. But there's so much more to it. And what we want to look at to find out, you know, what is more is what's called a natal chart or a birth chart, Potato, potato, they. And it's basically how I describe it is, it's basically the planets and the celestials. And the Zodiac. The moment you were born, and it's like the universe took a screenshot of it. And that's what we're looking at.

Jaclyn Steele:

I just got total body chills, like, got my entire body. Yeah, you feel you're like it's coming. I feel like it's just so cool. Like, I already feel tears in my eyes. But it's so cool. How, like what Paolo suela wrote about how when you decide something the whole universe conspires with you. Like, the whole universe is right there the whole time from birth on. Yeah, so cool.

Unknown:

It's so powerful. And it's just such a perfect tool for, you know, self discovery, which is great for, you know, you're immune to it in your podcast, and, you know, like, I use it for self development, self reflection, all of that. So, so yeah, so that's what we're looking at today. And, you know, just like we have all of the planets in our solar system, we have all of the planets doing something specific in our Natal charts. So you know, we've got at each of them represent a different facet of life or a different part of us. So we have our sun sign, which is our basic identity, personality. And then we've got Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, throughout, you know, all the way we count Pluto as well. And, you know, based on the zodiac sign these planets are in and then also there's a concept called the houses in your natal chart. Yes, and house they're in that's gonna give us specific information and kind of a fun fact, we all have all 12 signs in our natal chart so really describes you know, why we're so much more than our sun sign. We're dynamic beings. I'm gonna take notes. Yeah. I'm, I'm all Virgos. Do. I love it? So it is so true. And I'm such a Virgo. I'm such a nerd. Oh my gosh. I mentioned in our correspondence that I'm a Pisces, which is the opposite sign of virgo and in astrology opposite signs are you know sometimes referred to as sister signs but they unite each other or balance each other out. They want the same thing they might have different. You know ways about going to get it But you know, there's a really meeting in the middle of

Jaclyn Steele:

you. It's no wonder I felt so drawn to you, when I intuitively felt like I should reach out to her and see if she wants to be on the podcast. I acted on it right away, because I was like this something, something's really, really drawing me to this woman.

Unknown:

I love that. Well, I just I think it's probably that Virgo Pisces and you know, I love that you just followed your heart and your intuition. I'm so, so happy that we got to connect no to me too. Okay, so we talked about, you know, we've got the planets, we've got the signs, all 12 of them in our charts, and we've got also the houses and there's 12 houses. So I kind of set it up as this, the planets are, you know, the facets of us are the facets of life. And there's layers to them. The Zodiac is kind of like their personality, or how they're showing up. And the houses are the areas of life in which they show up the most or in Willow. So you know, it's like, where we're gonna find out like, where your Virgo shows up and thrive. Specifically, we're going to find out how you feel emotionally. We're going to find out what motivates you your work style, all of it. It's all there. Any questions before we dive into your assignment? I don't know. I'm ready to go. Sweet. Okay. So um, you know, as you know, you're a Virgo son. And I've mentioned a couple times, you know, the sun is our identity, it's the way we shine. It's our personality. It's also kind of like, who we're here to be in our basic, you know? So Virgos are pretty detail oriented, typically, the analytical sign. And earth signs are typically practical, rounded, organized, not always, you know, it's like, I've definitely met some disorganized earth signs, of course, but that's kind of a facet to them. And there really is just kind of this sense of value or attunement to the material world. So you know, your health, the Virgo is definitely connected to health. Oh, yeah. Yep, totally. And I know just kind of from seeing some of your posts and stuff that you take your health really seriously. And I'm like, very Virgo should take our health seriously. But I kind of always say, you know, Virgo Pisces are signs that, you know, when they pay special attention to their health, it just it goes that extra mile. So totally. So um, yeah. So Virgo. And you know, Virgo is also a mutable sign. And so it's pretty adaptable, mutable signs, signs are broken down into like Cardinal signs, mutable signs, or fixed signs. They're called the modalities. So it kind of describes like, what is the energy style that you move about the world like so at least in regard to your sun sign is there's a flexibility there's,

Jaclyn Steele:

I am very adaptable. Like, I think about the quintessential example in high school, like, Can you move from group to group and I was constantly I was friends with everybody. So it didn't matter if it was like the band geeks, or the theater people or the jocks, or whatever, I've just loved everybody.

Unknown:

Yeah, that makes a lot of sense for what I see in your chart, even beyond the Virgo. So I got back into like, some other places as well. So and so you know, I think typically, when I'm spending time with someone in their chart, I'd spend probably not, I don't I don't go in, on and on and on about the sun sign because typically, we already know a little bit about our sun sign or like, yeah, Virgo is the one I probably know the most about. So, you know, with that, I think that you know, we mentioned that this is your attunement to detail your you know, your work ethic, your reliability or your ability to show up and Virgos really do things and do them very well. Thank you. So, so that's a little bit about your sun sign. So then we'll move to the next important sign and I'm kind of mentioned tie these pieces together in people call them like the big three or the as of recently, the astrological community has been terming it SMR. So the sun sign, the moon sign and the rising sign are said to be kind of the main three or the most kind of important, and equally important, integral parts of like who we are. So we have our moon sign. So our moon sign tells us about our emotional realm, how we feel. It's our inner needs. It's our inner world. It's kind of like this private realm that not everyone gets to see, but we definitely feel like and I find when I introduce people to their moon sign, they're like, this is this is the part of me that has always wanted acknowledgement, but it's never found a place to get it. So your moon sign is Taurus. Being in Taurus called exalted, the moon is exalted in Taurus, whoa. Which means it's just in a sign that it's really happy and comfortable with because the moon archetype really is a sign of nurturance. And comfort. And Taurus is a sign that, you know, really welcomes that Taurus is also an earth sign, like Virgo. So you've got two out of your three times. You know, this is, and I bet you probably feel really connected to nature. And I'm not saying that about you, but

Jaclyn Steele:

so much, and I feel so drawn to it.

Unknown:

Totally, yeah, it's, I would imagine that especially with the sun, in that earth sign and your moon in that earth sign, it's what grounds you in, charges you. And you know, especially with this Taurus moon in your 12th house, and that is really kind of this opportunity that says or something that says, you know, when you take the opportunity to step away from the hustle and bustle the busy world and get back connected with yourself in nature, that's when you really can like, hear yourself, hear your needs. Oh,

Jaclyn Steele:

yes, that could not be more true. That could not be more true. And I think for a long time, with the dizziness and overstimulation of the world, I allowed that to fall on my list of priorities, and I suffered greatly because of it.

Unknown:

Yeah. From what I see on your chart, you have, you know, definitely a hole to be of service to be present to create something to materialize things. And in my gosh, to then keep in balance of returning for the self. And I think that's important for all of us. But like, for you, oh, I

Jaclyn Steele:

feel like I needed to hear that. It's, I don't know why it's still like this, but I feel I do feel so called to serve and to create, but I still have trouble taking time and putting boundaries around my time saying, I need to recharge for myself.

Unknown:

Yeah,

Jaclyn Steele:

yeah. And I feel like that's permission. That's like, ancestral celestial, astrological permission?

Unknown:

Well, and I think sometimes, you know, it seems like that inherent value for you is placed on being of service and creating and productivity and things like that. And so I think a lot of that permission to give ourselves that alone time or that space away that recharge time is, you know, understanding the inherent value in that as well and how that ties into what we do on the outer world. So you know, it's if you kind of imagine like, the moon sign as our internal battery, it's what we need to feel full and charged. And you know, with it being in Taurus, this sense of self care, Taurus is a sign that's ruled by the planet of Venus. And I think Venus is a planet that you know, even if you knew nothing about astrology, you get this general sense of it's very, like, you know, pleasure driven and beauty and comfort foods. Yes, a nice bath candles, aesthetic, you know,

Jaclyn Steele:

oh my gosh, yes. Yeah, yes, aesthetic is huge for me. And in fact, being in an RV and an enclosed space for the last four months has started to really be hard for me, because I feel like the world is closing in a little bit. And aesthetic. I mean, like, my home office, before we moved was tidy and decorated. And it's that is such a huge thing for me. And I think that's also something that I don't know that my husband fully understands how important aesthetic is to me. We've been married now for 10 years. So I think he's starting to really catch on, but every little detail especially cuz I'm a Virgo. It means so much to me like the energy of a space really deeply affects me.

Unknown:

Yeah, absolutely. And so when your husband is kind of you know, whether he says it or whether he just it feels implied you can be like maybe I'm a Venusian, I need to look good. I just I throw that around a lot because I have a Libra rising. So you know, these things are like really important. And especially kind of in the context of that. popping back to your sun sign. I haven't mentioned your sun signs in your fourth house of home. So to feeling your home is organized and to feel like there's a systematic way of how you create an organized and live in your like home base is something that's really You know, hugely important to that sun sign of yours. Wow. So permission to lean into that the cool thing about astrology and discovering our charts is that a lot of these things we know about ourselves already, sometimes we find out new things. And a lot of the time, it's just validation. It's being seen. And being like, there is a reason why, you know, I'm not crazy. Right?

Jaclyn Steele:

Right. Yeah. That's how I feel right now.

Unknown:

I'm not crazy. I am. It's in the, it's like in my celestial DNA, or what I call it. So yeah, absolutely. Yeah. So you know, make sure you're getting you know, that recharge time alone time. And, you know, if it's a nature, or if it's just kind of like feeling really grounded sand distractions, it's going to be really important for you. And then you can almost kind of like, come back into the external world world or the outer world and just be you know, 110%, instead of, you know, 80%, or 90%. So, that makes so much sense. Absolutely. So that's a little bit about your moon sign. And I'm sure we'll tie it in more as we kind of work around your chart. But that's a little bit about that for you. And then we have the rising sign. So we talked about sun sign moon sign, a rising sign is, I describe it, as you know, if the natal chart were a ship, or if we were a ship, it's the helm of our ship, it's what we it's oftentimes how people like, initially perceive us, or you know, interact with us, it's the forefront of our mind. Sometimes people will describe it as like a mask that you wear, but it's really this energy that, you know, it's much more important than just face value. But it is a little bit of that, like when you first meet someone that you're kind of picking up the rising sign energy do you allow, so cool. And it also kind of creates this like filter, or this, like overlay of how the rest of our chart really shows up, cuz it's all kind of being filtered through this rising sign. So you, you have a Gemini rising? Ah, yes, and Gemini is an air sign. And like Virgo, it's a mutable sign. So this is really kind of double downing on your adaptability. And it's also double downing on this element called, like the mercury and feel influence on like rule, okay? Because so every zodiac sign has a planetary ruler or a planet that's associated with it. So mercury rules, Virgo, and it rules Gemini. And Mercury is a planet of the mind, our intelligence, our communication, how we learn how we speak, how we process information, it also kind of has to do with like, day to day functions. Sometimes it can refer to like technology, short travel siblings, if you will, that's kind of getting further out there. But you know, people who are heavily Mercury, they don't be that in the sense of like, anybody like astrologically, heavily Mercury, you know, with a big emphasis of Gemini and a big emphasis of Virgo. They're really kind of sharp with their minds. And, you know, looking for those details, information driven facts, communication driven as well. I mean, I think it's very fitting that you have this podcast, and you know, all of the other facets that you do, or just very, even specifically, like, very Gemini of you because Gemini loves to connect exchange information. Find out why it's an incredibly curious sign. And it's pretty social as well, I would imagine, especially with, you know, earth signs can be a little bit more, you know, reserved or a little bit more like modest, not always there's extroverted and introverted versions of every sign. But typically, we're looking at our signs being a little bit more reserved. So this Gemini rising of yours gives you a little bit more of that, you know, extraversion or social? Yeah, oh,

Jaclyn Steele:

definitely. I can definitely be a social butterfly. I would say like, I derive a lot of pleasure from being alone, and I really recharge my battery from being alone. But when I am in social situations with people that I love and respect, that also totally recharges me if I'm at like a mixer where we're just cocktailing it up and like meeting new people. I will be exhausted at the end. Because I exert a lot of energy. But otherwise, yeah. Oh, that makes so much sense. And it's no wonder I'm so attracted to that Gemini sort of energy. Totally.

Unknown:

Yeah, oftentimes we really are attracted to, you know, whatever the sign is on our rising sign because the rising sign is also referred to as the ascendant. It's the start of the first house. And the first house is the house of the self. It's me my image, you know how I first appear. It's also kind of like the ego a little bit. And so, you know, when we meet or interact with a sign that is the same time as our rising sign, there's this immediate recognition or there is just like, you, you know, it's like, right at the forefront of our being so do you know your husband? sunsign?

Jaclyn Steele:

She is a, it's March 17. So is it Pisces crazy?

Unknown:

Love Your Pisces? I love that. Yeah. So that's great for great for your Virgo. And I think you know, Pisces and Taurus your moon sign great together, Pisces in Gemini have a lot of fun together. Because really this adaptability and like wanting experience every day, or every oh my gosh, getting up and go, you know, without always having to have like, a solid plan. So Oh, that's us to uh, to kind of bring a little bit more of that out in you have like your maybe the one out of the two of you to have more of a like, let's like, you know, think things through or have a plan. The price is like, let's just fly by the seat of our pants like? Yes, yeah. Yeah. And, you know, I'm not sure what his moon or rising or the rest of his chart looks like, but I will bring that out. And yeah, he would love this too. So I'm gonna have to sign up to do this. Oh, that'd be great. Awesome. So um, okay, so that's like a little bit about your rising sign. And from there, I really like to talk about what's called your chart ruler. And I mentioned it already that it's mercury. But you know, the sign that we have on our rising sign? Yes, the sign that we have in our rising and the planet that rules that sign, whatever it's doing in our chart is pretty significant. So mercury rules Gemini. So whatever your Mercury is doing in your chart, is it saying a lot about you. I mean, our mercury placements are all pretty important because it is, you know, describing how we think and how we process information, how we speak and communicate. But yours is going to be a little bit more prominent, if you will. Okay. So you have mercury in Leo, which is very fun. Leo is a fire sign. And so Mercury, and Leo is bold, and expressive and fun. And, you know, sometimes it can, you know, indicate like somebody who has a, like a big booming voice or carries. And not necessarily, and not always, but, you know, Leo is definitely like the creative and the expressor of the zodiac. It just loves to kind of be in its bold, authenticity and expression. And it's also a sign that is associated or ruled by the sun. So it's incredibly warm and generous. And when it shines, I was just listening to lyza today, and I don't think she has any significant Leo placements, but this lyric of hers really, like made me go that is so Leo is when she says when I'm shining, everybody's gonna shine. And now it's just like this warm that like, highlights the room.

Jaclyn Steele:

Yeah, it's so interesting that you say that I immediately got tears in my eyes, because I don't. I don't necessarily like being the center of attention. But I don't dislike it. But I would rather that if I'm the center of attention, it's including other people or it's for other people, like for other people's enjoyment.

Unknown:

Yeah, absolutely. Yeah. And that's like a really beautiful and healthy expression of Leo, that, you know, and I kind of always say, you know, Leo's, you know, sometimes get the reputation for wanting to be the center of attention or kind of centering themselves. It's like, well, they're ruled by the sun, and all revolve around we revolve around a little bit of a path. Okay. But yeah, so that makes a lot of sense. And, you know, Leo, is a sign that's associated with the heart of the zodiac is, correlates to like a part of the body, which is really cool. And Leo is the heart. So, you know, when you speak, you speak with a lot of heart, which I can I mean, even before we met, like just listening to your podcast was like, there's so much heart and feeling. And that's so fitting for you, especially because this mercury of yours is in the third house. And the third house represents communication. So again, full body chills, just people, for you to really be stepping into a role as a communicator in whatever way that feels authentic to you. Is going to be really aligning for you. Or at least you know, if feels really authentic, does it not? Oh,

Jaclyn Steele:

I just feel like tears are welling up? Oh my gosh, yes. And I think for years and years and years, I denied myself of that, because I was like, What do I have to say that people haven't heard? You know, it's that typical, like, self consciousness, lack of self worth. And it wasn't until I started communicating, that I started really feeling like, I was coming into my own.

Unknown:

Absolutely, yeah, that makes so much sense that I'm so glad that you found a way to heal that insecurity or that, you know, questioning or doubt that you had because it's, you know, it really is aligned with you know, you and when I seen your chart, and also it makes a lot of sense that, you know, you said, you know, what do I have to say that, you know, nobody's already said or that they haven't heard before, and Leo loves to be original, like, it really loves to, like, be unique and original, so that it was like very Leo of like, I'm not just gonna like, I gotta I gotta stand out somehow, you know, I got ya. Yeah. True. I mean, I

Jaclyn Steele:

see that all the time in what I do. I'm like, ooh, I really like that shade of sweater. But I've seen it on five people, so I can't have that I have to get. It's an admit, that makes so much sense.

Unknown:

Yeah, absolutely. And the last we forget, aesthetic is very important to you. And so having original aesthetic is like, a big part. That's a big part. And like, you know, especially in the lines of this, your Virgo ties in, you know, into this as well. And you've got what's called mutual reception between your son and your Mercury, which means that the ruler of the Sun Leo, that's where your Mercury is, and then the ruler of your Mercury, Virgo. That's where your son is, does that make sense when they're really kind of connected or helping each other out a little bit. And so your son and Mercury are both, you know, wanting those details to be original or that self expression to be very unique. But then that Virgo Will you know, Virgo can overthink something. Oh, all the time. Yeah.

Jaclyn Steele:

So I'm stuck in my head all the time. Yeah. That's why getting out into nature is so vital for me so that I can return back into my body.

Unknown:

Absolutely. Absolutely. Yeah, totally. Okay, so we've covered those four, those four Any questions so far? No, but this is so freakin cool. And I'm so glad I'm recording it so that I can go back and listen to it all the time. Yeah, I love having just these sessions recorded because you know, that way, you know, clients or whoever can just replay it or go back and every time you know that, you know, it's replayed it. You know, something else will pop out for Yeah,

Jaclyn Steele:

yeah, I can see that for sure.

Unknown:

Okay, are you ready for let's go to Venus next.

Jaclyn Steele:

Oh, okay.

Unknown:

Yeah. So I was talking about how like, you know, just when your husband is like, What's your deal with the aesthetic or whatever he can be like I'm Venusian. Okay, you're here's more Venus energy. I mean, we all have Venus in our chart. But you have your Venus in the sign of Libra and Venus rules. Libra and Venus rules Taurus your moon sign. Oh, very Venusian Venus is very happy to be in Libra. And, you know, Venus, specifically when it's in Libra is the sign of partnership or connection. It's also the sign of like, wanting harmony or like peace. Yes, feeling like things are in harmony for you or especially in like, relationships, feeling like your relationships are, you know, equally being heard and valued. Like both parties and relationships are something that you on one hand are very good at. And it comes naturally to you because Venus in Libra, but also is highly valued for you because Venus is our values. Yeah, wow.

Jaclyn Steele:

I just got chills again. Because I feel like that is one of the things that has caused the most anxiety in my life, relationship wise, especially with family because I am so like in it and so there and so present and I want harmony and peace so badly, that when there is like passive aggressive stuff, or somebody being mean to somebody else, or somebody is talking to me in a way that really makes me feel like out of harmony. I generally very kindly but gently say something and so I'm kind of known as somebody who like creates a little bit of the rocking of the boat. But it's all because I want harmony. It's not because I like conflict. I hate conflict.

Unknown:

Absolutely. Yeah, totally. Yeah, Libra is a sign especially, you know, with Venus in Libra, it's it's not a fan of conflict, you'd get a sign like Aries Aries, which is Libras. Opposite is, you know, it's not to say that, like areas will like start conflict all the time. But like, the areas of, you know, in my life are very much the ones that are like conflict, I'm gonna go and like, just go ahead and deal with it shamelessly no problem and Libras Oh, let's just all get along. And like, you know, I think also just the concept of, you know, it's like, well, while you don't like conflict, you'll also kind of speak up Leo mercury. To make things fair, or to make things yeah, to feel like everyone's being heard, and kind of restore this peace within, you know, within the group or within the home or wherever you are.

Jaclyn Steele:

That I mean it. That's absolutely. Me, in my family. Total, absolutely. Like 1,000%.

Unknown:

Wow, absolutely. And your Venus is in your fifth house of self expression of creativity. So this is a house that Venus really loves to be in. And it says a lot about the way you express yourself. And so you know, for you to the way you express yourself with family or with whoever is going to be in a way that seems very pleasant is also a really charming sign like Venus is the charmer it can just like really kind of because because it wants comfort and harmony so much. It has a natural knack or ability to create that. And so it makes me really comfortable. And seen and often does that through like warmth and charm. And you know, Oh, I love that sign. Yeah, yeah.

Jaclyn Steele:

I love that. I mean, that's like that really is the kind of energy I try and cultivate and emanate. Yeah, so it makes sense that that's kind of what comes naturally to me too.

Unknown:

Yeah, yep. Absolutely. Yeah, I feel it a lot. I was like, oh, Libra, Venus makes so much sense. You know, it also, when we talk about creativity, or like art or creating something of beauty, this is Venus's territory. So you know, with your moon and Taurus and your Venus at home in Libra, it in the house of creativity, like it would say, You are a creative person, you really like to create beautiful things, some people, you know, create for various reasons. And what this would tell me is that you like to create things that we can look at together and say that it's just beautiful, or we can listen to or you know, doesn't even Yes,

Jaclyn Steele:

it does. Oh, my gosh, I mean, one of my like, mantras for myself is beauty out of pain. Hmm. You know, like, how can I take something like a painful experience, or of myself or somebody else's, and make it into something beautiful. So beauty is such an important thing to me.

Unknown:

Yeah, yeah, I love that. You said that too. Because I'm gonna tie in Pluto, I know, we were kind of working our way out. But Pluto is hanging out right over here. And it's playing so much off of that phrase that you just said of turning beauty out of pain or turning pain into community. Because Pluto is a planet that is you know, associated sometimes with pain, or at least a little bit of that like emotional or psychological pain. It's like our pain, shame, trauma, power. I can't wait to hear about this one. It's a really, really like, deep and powerful, powerful and dark planet. But it's also this planet that represents transformation. And so yes, those like really difficult, shadowy things. But when we need it in our unique way, and we acknowledge it, and you know, in our unique way of doing so we can transform it into beauty or into love or whatever it is, you know, something that is of higher vibration or light or you know, whatever. So, and the reason why I bring this up for you is that it's also Pluto is also in your fifth house. And Pluto's in Scorpio and Pluto is a slow mover. So, you know, we You and I both have our Pluto and Scorpio. It's generally in this generation. I don't actually remember the dates off the top of my head, but it's something like I think like 1983 and then like 12 years after that, yeah, about 12 years. So it's you know, it's it's um, Pluto is not necessarily going to be so much about our own individual personality unless it's really close to a personal planet like the sun, Mercury, Venus, the moon, the rising sign, but it does say you know, here's like how we should show up or generationally, how we handle plutonian. Things like reformation change, pain. Yeah, things like that. Yeah, wow. So fits very well that you would take, you know, in the realm of creativity. You know, take your painful experiences and your immediate intuitive reaction is I'm going to utilize this and make it beautiful. That's how I transform. And that's how I grow and evolve. And yeah, it's so beautifully.

Jaclyn Steele:

So what does it mean exactly that my fifth house or Pluto's in my fifth house, and that's Scorpio?

Unknown:

Yeah, so you have so in a house, we typically have one to two signs, you actually have three signs kind of hanging out in your fifth house. And that's a concept that's a little bit more, I would say less common in that you have a what's called an intercepted house, sorry, intercepted sign. So that means that you know, your fifth house, it actually starts in Virgo. Libra sits in an entirely it's a kind of like swallowed hole, and then it ends in, in Scorpio. So have, you know, kind of a little bit of all of these elements within this in a way, they're not always going to have like equal weight. And in fact, you know, if you weren't if you didn't have Venus, in Libra, in that fifth house, that that Libra energy might actually be a little lost in there. But it's kind of this highlighting, if you will, but it also says, you know, okay, fifth house themes, first and foremost, because your fifth house starts in Virgo. That's kind of the doorway to your fifth house. And so your fifth house themes of like creativity, self expression is very Virgo, it really aligns with that son of yours. And so kind of the first thing that may come to mind in creating for you or expressing is that, you know, how can this be useful? How can this be of service? Yeah, yeah. And that's like, your Virgo sun. But it's also, you know, hanging out in the doorway of your fifth house,

Jaclyn Steele:

exactly what I do, like, what can I use this for?

Unknown:

Absolutely. Yeah. And then you go, and Is it beautiful? Is it statically pleasing? Can other people use it, you know, that's partnership aspect. And then, you know, in Scorpio they're hanging out on the tail end of your fifth house is that part of and as I do this, it's deeply transformational. And it has a lot of heart. And you know, sometimes Libra is a sign that, I don't want to say it doesn't have the capacity for depth, but it's not known for its depth. So with your Pluto and Scorpio in there adds this richness and this depth to that heart creation. So it's very powerful. Yeah, it's very powerful. It's so clear. What that answer your questions that help.

Jaclyn Steele:

Yeah. Oh, definitely. And I don't know if the birth chart would touch on this, but I am interested in like, the family trauma. Does Pluto talk any? Or like, how does that work? As far as? What am I trying to ask the way that my family deals with trauma? Is there any information on that in there?

Unknown:

Absolutely. Yeah, we can definitely know, you know, look at the chart and know a little bit more about that. The first place Pluto is gonna definitely play a role in this. The first place I'm going to look, in the context of family and like lineage, is the start of the fourth house or the cusp of the fourth house, it's oftentimes also referred to as the icy it's like the bottom most part of our chart, so if you slow it's that anger, it's that root. And so, you know, I'm looking at Okay, what's going on around here? Yeah. Your fourth house CUSP is in Leo. And your Mercury is really close to it. And so that I think initially is the idea or the thought of what is my role in my lineage? Or what is my role in my family? And, you know, Mercury is what we're thinking about. So, it is definitely something to think about of like how do I play into this or what is my like, yeah, unique role or my importance? Mm hmm. Your son is also in your fourth house. So you are deeply connected to you know, someone with their son in the fourth houses, attuned to family things, obviously, of course, it relates to what family means to you, or what how your family shaped your life, but, um, you know, for a son in the fourth house, there definitely is like, again, this emphasis on you know, your identity and how it relates to kind of the generations or the lineage in which you are in huge talk about generational things. And trauma, like generational trauma is kind of like Pluto. Because Pluto is a generational planet. Those are the outer planets of Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. So really slow moving, they often just kind of encapsulate like a generation says more about, you know, those generational things. And then Pluto being, you know, a planet that is associated with trauma. And so with this being in your fifth house, the fifth house is also the house of like children. So it could be more, it also could represent like, how you will relate to children, or if, if and when you have kids how you would relate to them as a mother. It's also making so I'm going to bring in the aspects now. And this is like the additional layer of like, there's so much detail in one's chart. So there's an aspect called a sextile. And it means when two planets are interacting with each other at a 60 degree angle, and it's really a pretty, they're, they're connecting, and they're in tune. They're kind of like friendly neighbors of being like, Hey, you know, you know, like, we're, you know, we're getting along here, it's not like super, super strong, there are aspects that are a little bit more prominent or stronger. But these two are definitely talking together and in this sextile that you have is Pluto. And then it's making that sextile to your son or son sextile to Pluto. So is connecting this

Jaclyn Steele:

in the sun is shining a light on my trauma.

Unknown:

Yeah, absolutely. As it relates to like, how you show up in your generation or in your family. 100% Oh, my gosh, yeah. Yeah. So you know, and I think that a lot of us, especially right now, are feeling really intrigued or even like a sense of responsibility to address generational trauma or generational cycles. It's really kind of a hot topic right now, which I think is great. You know, some things, you know, get trendy, and you're like, oh, and some things are like, this is fabulous. This is it absolutely. is not. Yeah, yeah. Personally, I think that it's really the Pluto and Scorpio generation that at least is like initiating this are leading this. It's not to say that if you don't have a Pluto and Scorpio, like, you can't or shouldn't, or won't. But I think that you know, those of us that were born under a Pluto Scorpio, Pluto, like, there is this kind of innate desire, because Scorpio is also the sign that really likes to dig deep. It's actually associated with Pluto. It's the Pluto is the modern day ruler of Scorpio. So both of them are looking at cycles, patterns, especially ones that are a little bit on that shadow side are the ones that need healing, and kind of coming in and understanding the root understanding. You know how to care for it and nurture it and transform it, transcend it and feel it. Oh, my

Jaclyn Steele:

gosh, I mean, that that. It makes so much sense. I feel like the Pluto Scorpio combination. It's like a healer. I want to I like it. As much as I'm capable of doing my desire is to help people heal themselves. Yeah, yeah. And that's honestly, that's why I created the podcast. I was like, I'm learning all of these things. I've been learning all these things. How can I help people learn these things themselves?

Unknown:

Yeah, yep, absolutely. And I love that. I think that definitely speaks a lot to that sun, Pluto sextile because they're really working together. You know, your sense of purpose as a sun sign in Virgo as your you know, service to others is really to share your healing story and to help facilitate healing in that as well. And I'm going to tie in one other thing that is going to blow your mind. When we talk about healing. There is a little planetary body. He's an asteroid. His name is Chi Ron. And Hi, Ron is the wounded healer. It represents the partner chart that definitely speaks to a wound or an insecurity or a part of us that feels hurt or needs a little bit of or a lot of bit of love nurturance and care and healing. So you have we all have it in our chart. And you know where we have it says more about this. So you have it in Gemini, right on your Ascendant like it is like right on, on that rising. So this is an energy, that healing energy is something that you really, really lead with. And you can kind of tell me if this resonates with you, but I would imagine That, before you really stepped into that energy, did it feel like you maybe had some insecurities or wounds around that initial interaction with people or what you had to share with them the information that you had to say,

Jaclyn Steele:

huge. And I think before, before I ever made, for instance, specifically relating this back to the podcast before I ever sat down to record Episode One, I had decades of pain and trauma that I had been actively working on and dealing with, because I didn't want to create this out of a sense of pain. I wanted to create it not as like a totally Healed person, everything's okay, I'm good to go. But from a place where I felt that I had done the work up to that point that I needed to do in order to share things in an articulate way that was meaningful. Yeah, um, that was really important to me, because I don't want to share pain to share pain. Yeah, yeah, at all. I want to share my pain, to have it be a catalyst for other people to see it and go, I'm not alone. But also I don't have to stay in this place.

Unknown:

Yes, totally. I love that that was your mission and motivator for you know, this podcast that you're doing in this time in your life and really relates to this Chiron in Gemini, you know, you're talking about Gemini as the communicator and as the like, information share. And so for you to communicate your wounds, and your trauma and your difficult experiences is a huge way. I think this is true for all of us, you know, in some way, but for you, it is that number one way of continuing that healing process. And so obviously, the levels in which you share I'm sure initially it was, you know, the first step of sharing with one other person and the new shoes a little bit more. It's kind of that idea of, you know, unless you verbalize it articulate it might have a difficult time regenerating or bringing in that healing. But with Chi Ron, you know, it's the wounded healer. And so through our wounds, we can heal ourselves, and we can hear heal other people by, you know, speaking to them, you know, through our experience inspiring them, you know, whether it's, you know, I believe that we all have to be responsible for our own healing. We shouldn't rely on the house to do that for us. But I absolutely think that we are also connected. And so if we can be inspired by someone, and their healing story, I think it really gives us that permission. And that gateway to bring that in for ourselves, especially if we can relate to that story.

Jaclyn Steele:

Yeah. Oh, yes. So that's an activity.

Unknown:

So that way, I know every time I introduce characters like that one for a moment, because it's it's a heavy one.

Jaclyn Steele:

Yeah. But it makes so much sense that that is why I focus so much of my time on healing and sharing my own stories.

Unknown:

It's the forefront of your being it's at that helm of the ship for you. Yeah. No, like, see you in that it's also especially in earlier years, or until you figure out what that means for you probably was not an easy placement to have. And probably, you know, yeah, was very hard to figure out how to heal it.

Jaclyn Steele:

It was bizarre, because I on the outside fit in, because I'm adaptable, but I never felt like anybody really knew me.

Unknown:

That's

Jaclyn Steele:

how I that's really how I felt.

Unknown:

Yeah, you know, and I also think that that ties in largely to your moon in the 12th house, because the 12th house is, you know, I mentioned it kind of being this element of, you know, alone time and it's, you know, it's the house of the subconscious and it's how we spiritually Connect, but it's also the house of the hidden you know, it's kind of this conscious realm or it kind of keeps things under wraps. And so, you know, someone with a moon in the 12th house can definitely feel misunderstood. Because the moon is our innermost being, it's our core, it's our needs, it's who we are, you know, on the inside and our, you know, like our purest sense. And so, you know, with that hidden in that 12th house, tucked away it kind of definitely says you know, that it may not feel like people are seeing Bam, yeah, pour.

Jaclyn Steele:

Yeah, well, and on top of that growing up, I grew up in a super, super, super conservative Christian household. And so self expression or emotional expression. And I'm not saying every Christian household is like this, but that was not something that was celebrated. That was something that was downplayed, and then I was taught to control it. Because it's a reflection on Jesus, if you aren't acting in a very specific set of ways. Yeah, so that also explains why I felt so. Yeah, alone.

Unknown:

Yeah, yeah, otherwise, you're very lonely moon in the 12 can be a very lonely placement, it doesn't have to be you know, all of these, you look at our chart and say, that's less than ideal or typical, it doesn't, it's not a, you know, and this is what you have to deal with forever. And they, I see you, I acknowledge you. And here's how we can better manage it or

Jaclyn Steele:

evolve that I love that. It's like, we have a baseline, and I love this for the the birth chart, because that feels like I'm clearly seeing my baseline. But I know that I can take action to change things if I need to. But having that baseline is key. Otherwise, what do we know to change? Or what do we know to work on or heal?

Unknown:

Yeah, absolutely. Yeah, that baseline or that framework is exactly what, you know, a natal chart or, you know, any sort of tool like this can really help provide us and, you know, with that, you know, I'm, you know, sitting here and interpreting, you know, these for you, but there's also a ton of different ways, all of these can be interpreted. And, you know, astrologers are kind of like, well, I would interpret it this like this based on how and where, and what's interacting, but, you know, especially as we grow and evolve and move through life, I think a lot of these placements can, you know, they all have dynamicism, and they can show up in unique and different ways, depending on the stage that we're in, or the situation that we're in, it's not a stagnant fixed thing. You know, it really does, even though it's like I said, you know, a screenshot, you know, it's there, it can really, um, you know, it has room to move and grow. Yeah,

Jaclyn Steele:

yeah, it helps us see the roadmap. Yeah, that in my head, that's what I see. Yeah,

Unknown:

totally. And I can also really see, you know, in the realm of, like, emotions, or emotional expression, why, you know, especially at an earlier age that was not encouraged, and it kind of, you know, I think, our early experience, even if we're able to see it, as you know, that's not, you know, ideal, or I don't want that or something, you know, it always kind of sticks with us, at least, you know, initially, and then we learn how to, you know, better manage it. So, you have your moon is in a square aspect, or a 90 degree aspect with your mercury. So, this creates tension, or dynamicism, between the way you feel and the way you express it. Oh, gosh, okay, with like mercury square moon, or moon, or Mercury, Potato, potato, you know, like, they, especially with that moon in the 12th house, there are Richi motions there. But then figuring out how to communicate and articulate and share them, especially in that Leo mercury expressive way. There is some tension there. And again, you can just be aware of that and learn how to grow that and, you know, nurture that. And

Jaclyn Steele:

while I feel like I had to come, I mean, I feel like pretty much anybody who knows me, would probably tell you, I am expressive and communicative. Yep. However, I have learned to really control my emotions. And so I may be able to communicate something but I don't necessarily express it. And that came up for me so acutely last August, when I had this horrible health scare, and I was diagnosed with hashimotos and hashimotos. The metaphysical expression of it is a lack of self expression.

Unknown:

Wow. On expressed

Jaclyn Steele:

emotion. I think what's so interesting is like, everything about me is about communication, right? Yet, I'm able to communicate but I intellectualize the communication, rather than get it out of me. an expressive way.

Unknown:

Yeah, absolutely. That makes. Wow, that makes so much sense. Who are you know, what you've shared? And you know, what's in your chart? Yeah, I mean, emotional expression is something that is not, you know, easy for you, but absolutely necessary. No, because and I don't want to create situations that do not have harmony. Yeah,

Jaclyn Steele:

a lot of the time, even though I communicate, and I'm not afraid to say things that need to be said, I often say them in such a way that is very soft and gentle. And I think sometimes I need to be far firmer and forthright. Yeah, like, my boundary has been crossed after that. And I need space. Whereas right now, I would be like, you know, the way that you said that hurt me. And there's nothing wrong with that. I think that that is good. But I think I over corrected. Yeah, I mean, I went from like, kind of angry teenager at times to overcorrecting into this over intellectualized emotional state where it needs to be somewhere in the middle. Yeah,

Unknown:

yeah. Absolutely. I hear you 100% and the Taurus moon, you know, it's the sign of the ball. Taurus is associated with the bowl. And so bulls are usually really docile, but they're also like, you poke and poke and poke and poke, they're gonna like a lot. Lee, they're gonna, you know, yeah, that's probably a way that that expression kind of shows up for, you know, it's like, you're able to kind of like, you know, slowly and kind of serenely, approach something, and then it comes to that point, and then you like, do you, you know, Taurus is so good at boundaries. So it's like, no, like, do you lay down that hard? No. And there's also a part of our charts that describes like, our comfort zone, and then also what is out of our comfort zone, but we also should know to, like, lean into, because it's going to, you know, help us grow and help us progress on our path. And these points are called the north and the south node. And so your South node is where you're coming from. It's an energy that is familiar and easy, almost kind of autopilot. And I bet you probably aren't surprised to know that your South node is in Libra. It's very easy for you to be harmonious and palatable, especially in that fifth house, where it's at the way you're expressing yourself. So this is going to be an energy that is always going to be second nature and very easy and natural for you to access access. And it's very close to your Venus as well. So just being very, like, lovely and pleasant with it. Yeah, whenever, you know, we look at the south node, whether it be for ourselves or for others. It's like, yep, like, that's not even a major planet. It's a mathematical point. But it's like, it makes so much sad. Oh,

Jaclyn Steele:

totally. That's my, that's my happy place.

Unknown:

It that's exactly what the South note is, is it's our happy place. It's our comfortable place. Yep. Because it's familiarity. And I think, no matter what's in our chart, humans like familiarity, because, oh, and it's safe, for sure. So then, you know, on the contrast of that, opposite the South node is the north node, they're all those opposite points from each other. And the north node is like, Hey, I'm this point that is very opposite from the south note, it's very out of your comfort zone and unfamiliar but it would be in your best interest to lean into this or make it part of your journey. And your north node is in Aries in the house. So Aries is a fire sign like very bold. Like it's I mentioned earlier, like Aries is not afraid of conflict. And this isn't necessarily saying like hey, you need to go and start fights. No, not at all. The North node is always like the highest expression or the best version of the sign. Aries is also not going to take shit I hope I can Yeah,

Jaclyn Steele:

no, no, you can totally swear.

Unknown:

You know it's going to you know put itself first and actually your mercury in Leo it's making a really harmonious aspect to it call a Trine and so it's gonna really help you out to get there. So tapping into that Leo energy of kind of like that, you know, knowing when to put you first Yeah, having that kind of like fire that spark to like, go and do or go and say and is a huge part of that North Node journey for you. I mean, there's probably so many other aspects to this. But it is to say you know, don't like you know, by Not wanting to rock the boat, make sure it's not at your own expense or your needs don't get met. And that's what I've done. And that's what hashimotos taught me. But interestingly, this is so interesting.

Jaclyn Steele:

When I was little before, like the conditioning of family, and society and culture, I was so fiery, like my parents would have to, I was never mean. But I had no filter on what I would say. And I vividly remember my mom telling this story of a playdate when I was like two or three years old, and they invited this little boy over and whoever was taking care of this little boy was like, he can be very aggressive, you're gonna have to be really careful of this little boy with your daughter, because he might just overpower her. And my mom was like, I think it'll be fine. It's okay. It's Don't worry about it. Well, my mom said about five minutes later, they heard screaming in the next room, and the woman was like, I told you, we can't leave this boy with anybody. And they walked in, and I was on top of him, like, not like beating him, but like trying to get him into submission. You were dominating. I was dominating. And I think that is definitely a huge part of my personality, not dominating to dominate, but like dominating in situations where I feel like somebody is being oppressed, or I'm being oppressed, or there's injustice.

Unknown:

Yes. And that is absolute. Lee, that piece of injustice is also that connector between that south or north over you, or just the general theme of like, you know, keeping the peace versus expressing yourself is, if something is unfair. I must say something. Yes. unfair not to and, yes, include yourself. In that fairness, I think that Libra especially can like, forget to include themselves in the fairness, because they are so like partnership oriented or partnership oriented. Or just more tuned, or more. Just cares a little bit more about the other than this. Yeah.

Jaclyn Steele:

Yeah. So it's kind of I mean, that makes a lot of sense. Like, if somebody does something to my friend, or somebody actually doesn't even have to be my friend. another human being that I feel like is wrong. I don't have any problem saying something. But if somebody does that, to me, I very much choose my battles. And I think sometimes that's wise. Yeah, yeah, absolutely. Err on letting that kind of stuff just go rather than stopping and going. No, I will not allow this. Yeah. So I'm going to invite some more that Aries energy. And I feel like that's so enlightening.

Unknown:

Yeah, I love working with the North and the South node. And, you know, being aware of our north node energy is so valuable. And it's also important to know that it's like a lifelong journey. You know, it's, it's not something that we can just do, and check off the box and be like, cool, got it, no problem. It's like, we're gonna be asked to return to it over and over and over again, because it's out of our comfort zone. It's something that isn't, you know, naturally ingrained. So, you know, it's definitely a point that requires commitment and work, but it's so rewarding. It brings so much

Jaclyn Steele:

Oh, brings balance, and it does. Which, so funnily enough, not funny at all, because it's just so fitting. I have right here doTERRA balance. Oh my gosh, and that's the one that I've been using all day every day for like the last three days. And I've been feeling like this is so wild, but over the last like five or six months, I've been feeling like I need to return to that little girl who took no shit from nobody, like zero and invite that back in because I know that's an aspect of who I am.

Unknown:

Totally and let I let go of absolutely the inner child work is so

Jaclyn Steele:

even my nose wants balance. Yeah, yeah, it's wild.

Unknown:

Yeah. And I think that's a great way for you to call in balance is through sensory things like that because Venus specifically Taurus which is your moon sign is set it's a sensory based sign and so it has a lot of connection with like smells and sound and taste and touch. If you're like really sensitive to smells like some like if you can smell something from a mile away, but like that smells terrible. I cannot I cannot work with this like that is your Taurus and Libra. Like, like you smell that people be like no and I gotta get out of here. Yeah, this is so bad. Oh my gosh, yes,

Jaclyn Steele:

I totally relate to that.

Unknown:

Yeah, totally. And your Virgo probably picks up on those details, too. Oh, sometimes annoyingly. So. Sometimes it's just like, Oh my gosh, it's not that big a deal, you know, and remembering to reminding that Virgo to also see the big picture. Something which I'll lead into this next part, there's two more spots I want to cover this is like, go on for another hour or five. Cool, give you just enough information to kind of like noodle on and chew on. But, you know, in terms of like, seeing things in the big picture, this comes into play with a number of different signs we've got, you know, like, Sagittarius is a big picture sign. But for you, specifically, I'm seeing this in your Aquarius midheaven. And then it's also called the MC or it's the using the health system that I use, it's the start of the 10th house. And this represents like our public reputation, our legacy, our career. vocation, it's really kind of like what we're going to be known what we are and will continue to be known for. So it's a really cool spot. And yours is in Aquarius. So this is us air sign a fixed air sign. And so again, that peace of connection and communication, sharing ideas and sharing information. But Aquarius is also you know, it kind of sees things from a societal or community vantage point, it sees that big picture, it says, here's how, but it doesn't ignore the details, either. It's like, here's this detail, and here's how it's important to kind of like everything. So it understands like, you know, Aquarius, is that sign that's gonna, you know, root for and vouch for the underdog. Maybe yes, quality. Yeah. And just make sure that like, you know, it's bringing, like, acknowledgement and awareness to you know, the ones that are, you know, on the outskirts or like the weirdo or you know, the one that's underrepresented. Yeah, that very Aquarian because it's so humanitarian, and so like, societal focused. So that and I've

Jaclyn Steele:

always been attracted to the Aquarius sign. Always.

Unknown:

season right now. So, you know,

Jaclyn Steele:

aren't we moving into the Age of Aquarius?

Unknown:

Yeah, well, okay. So I've heard Yes, and I've heard No, okay. Some people are like that happened in the 60s. And then some people like what's happening again, I think what sparked that, like bringing back that term, is that we do have a highly concentrated amount of planets currently in Aquarius, specifically right now because it's Aquarius season. So we have currently transiting You know, we've got the planet stationary number chart, and then they keep moving. So, right now, you know, February 2, the sun, Venus, mercury, Jupiter and Saturn are all in Aquarius. Jupiter and Saturn are slower movers in a month or so even in a matter of a few weeks, Mercury, Venus in the sun will be you know, carrying on into Pisces and then to Aries. But Jupiter and Saturn are, you know, really, they walked into Aquarius together, which was very cool, you know, that alignment only happens every so often. And then for them to do that, like, at the initial degree of a sign that really was the spark of the you know, quote unquote, Age of Aquarius. And like, Jupiter and Saturn are social planets. And so they kind of correlate to you know, society. And Aquarius is very society focused, it's that big picture focused. And so it's kind of to say that, you know, we're gonna see some shifts or new things in society, ideally, you know, in a progressive way, because Aquarius is pretty progressive, and innovative. So as an Aquarius, midheaven no pressure, you could be a part of that.

Jaclyn Steele:

Part of it. And I feel called to be a part of it.

Unknown:

Huge show called. Yeah, love that. Yeah. So that's a really cool part of our charts. And then I think the last thing I'll cover and then you know, obviously turn it over to you for any questions or, and whatnot is the last personal planet that we haven't covered yet, which is Mars. So, um, you know, the personal planets sun, moon, Mercury, Venus, and Mars. And some consider that rising sign part of that personal aspect but not a planet. And those planets speak directly to like our general personality or a little bit more unique to us. They move a little bit faster. So you know, they're, you know, a little bit more personal. So your Mars is in Capricorn, in the eighth house, and Mars will tell us how we like what we're driven by our sense of energy, like where we get our energy and how we exert it. It's how we handle conflict. It's how we handle aggression. Part of it. I know we were talking a little bit about that already. And I think this ties into it for sure. And, and it's really like, what motivates us, and what drives us and so you have a said Mars and Capricorn in the eighth house, Capricorn, another earth sign, so you've got significant planets in all three earth signs, you know, the concept of like, reliability, responsibility, work, goals, ambitions, it's like very highlighted for you. So Wow, to say that also, Capricorn is a very motivated sign loves to set goals and achieve them. It's kind of like the overachiever. It's that, you know, work first play later energy. And it also really likes to build, like, foundations and structures that likes to create something, but not necessarily in that like fun, creative sense, but create something that will last and that has a cavity and like, invest in things. So you know, Mars in Capricorn, just in general, this, I saw this, and I was like, I hope you know when to rest. I hope you rest enough. Like, you know, this is a hot, like a very hard working energy. You're really motivated. You know, you might also be motivated financially to because, yeah, Oh, definitely our money signs. And so absolutely. I think you could even give yourself permission to you know, in those money motivations, sometimes in the day and age we're in, we can kind of feel guilty for putting so much pressure and weight on money, it feels shallow, or, you know, there's more to life. And of course, there is, but I think, especially for you, it's what makes you feel a sense of achievement. Yeah. Makes you feel stable. It's not necessarily I would imagine about, you know, having all the riches in the world now.

Jaclyn Steele:

Safety. Yep. And security and that harmony, like being grounded. It's no, I'm an earth sign. Yeah, absolutely. That makes total sense.

Unknown:

Having that in check. And having that material world feel like where you want it to be at is huge, huge for you.

Jaclyn Steele:

And I feel like it's so interesting that your reaction was I hope she knows when to rest. Because that has been a life long struggle for me. And according to my notes, to my Virgo notes, rest is one of the most important things for me to be in balance. Yeah, yeah. So it also makes sense that physically I was diagnosed with hashimotos. Because my body was so out of balance. Absolutely. Yeah. And also why I keep turning into balance oil. Oh, my gosh, maple. This makes. Yeah, so much sense.

Unknown:

There's, yeah, I mean, it's all here, just knowing our chart, and just feeling so validated is there's nothing like it. Oh, glad that I could, you know, bring this information to you. So you can further your journey and self discovery. And I mean, there's so much more here too. And so I hope that you know, every time I introduce anyone to their birth chart, and I say, feel free to continue, you know, research on your own ask me questions like,

Jaclyn Steele:

Oh, I definitely I definitely want to do this again. Yeah. Oh, this is I mean, this is absolutely incredible. And like you said at the beginning, there's an awareness of like, Oh, that makes sense. I relate to that. And it's so comforting. Now knowing this information, because it validates it like validates who I am. Yeah, yeah. And it brings it into view in a way that and it's gonna take me a while to chew on this, but like gives me permission to continue acting that out. Because it can be so I'm thinking the listeners who are listening this, it can be so hard to go Okay, I have this inkling I'm going to act on it. And especially if it's something like sharing a podcast or doing something online, like in the public space, it can feel very scary, like what value do I actually have to add here and now knowing what I know, value is such a huge thing for me. I don't want to share fluff to people I want to share like value packed info. But for somebody listening to this, like having your birth chart read and understanding, this helps me to understand that all of these Inklings that I'm having and have had, they're all part of this, like universal cosmic plan.

Unknown:

Totally, absolutely. And we need all of the signs, and all of the expressions of the signs to make that work, which is another reason why there's so much value in astrology. And like, you know, as anyone we're like, as we step into the journey of discovering astrology, and then getting to know our friends, charts, you're like, there's also so much validation within that of being like, and this is how we're different and that is so beautiful, because it is. Yeah, yeah. Oh,

Jaclyn Steele:

can we be friends? Yes, of course.

Unknown:

I just feel very sorry. I just feel so drawn to I want to, like, sit outside with you and have a glass of wine. And just chit chat. That sounds awesome. Love, nothing more.

Jaclyn Steele:

Oh, same here. Okay. So I know that after listening to this, people are going to want to know how they can get in touch with you. So how can they find you? How could they book a session?

Unknown:

I love that. Thank you. Yeah, so I'm pretty active on Instagram, you can find me on there at Middle East, if you want to just kind of like, check out what I'm up to, you know, get in on some free content. And if you want to book a reading, you can go to my website at www dot Maple eastwood.com. And I'll link both of those things. Yeah,

Jaclyn Steele:

So you can get a hold of her as easily as possible. And I will vouch for your Instagram content. It's so interesting. And your Instagram stories, like the other day when you did the interior design thing, like is more like Libra or Virgo. That was so fun. And even though I didn't have a full understanding of like all of it, I was so intrigued by all the visuals, of course, because

Unknown:

I'm a visual. I feel like I know myself in a whole new way. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. I love that. Yeah, I'm so glad you loud, I have a lot of fun making those like, interior design stories. And I just have so much fun creating content and sharing that and, you know, spreading the information and helping people well,

Jaclyn Steele:

and you're a healer to, like you are helping people understand aspects of themselves that for so much of our lives are probably veiled.

Unknown:

Yeah, absolutely. Yeah. And I love that I was just kind of serendipitously brought into doing this. And the timing that I was, you know, I've been studying and sharing it for, you know, a number of years, but started doing this full time. Like, coincidentally, the start of the pandemic, like, and I was like, there, this is no coincidence, there's no way this could be. And in a time where our whole world stopped, a lot of us were looking for answers and had time to really spend with ourselves. And so I just feel so overwhelmingly grateful and blessed that I have been able to help people do that. And, like, I'm like tearing up, I'm like, it's just it's big. You know,

Jaclyn Steele:

it's huge. And it's obviously something you're gifted at and something that you are called to do.

Unknown:

It feels that way and I'm just it makes me feel very fulfilled. Very Hmm. You're such a treat your energy and did a fabulous, yes, I'm so glad we got to connect. Well, I'm

Jaclyn Steele:

so glad that people are gonna be able to hear this. So I just got off of zoom with maple Eastwood. You guys listened to it. And I'm gonna chew on all of the information and marinate on it. But what an incredible experience. I feel like it was just walking me home. And I also feel like it's just so cool to be held in your hand by the universe from the time of your birth on. Like, why do we even worry about anything because it's all meant for us. Anyway, if you are interested in having your natal chart read, I highly recommend that experience. Again, linked maples information below. Go follow her on Instagram. I'm like, I'm going to go take my dogs for a walk just so I can decompress a little bit and understand everything that I just heard but it just feels it rings so true to my spirit and to my soul.
